Noah, cofounder of Rowan, throws each of these bowls individually on the wheel. That means two bowls from the same glaze run will not be identical in size or surface pattern. The one you receive may look slightly different from the photos, and that is part of what you are buying.
The clay is reduction fired to cone 10, a process that vitrifies the body and makes each bowl safe for hot food, microwave use, and the dishwasher. Three glazes are available: Moss Crackle, Black Sky, and Crackle Grey.
