Wood split slightly
There's a hairline split forming at one end after a month, probably the dry winter air. Still functional and the look is nice. Keeping it away from the radiator now.
Simple and useful riser
I use it under a trailing plant on the mantel. Color is a bit lighter than the photo. Does the job of adding height quietly.
Makes a vignette look intentional
Set candles and a small vase on it and the slight lift reads as considered without shouting. The natural wood grain on mine is warm and the edges are smooth.
